Visited for a meal with a friend recently. It has an old charm to it with very friendly staff. Booking advised as it's quite small so tables are limited. We had a lovely burger and the home made pudding was absolutely lovely, filling but refreshing.

My wife and I had a great 3 nights staying at the Inn with our golden retriever. The food was excellent, the ale great and the staff were all very friendly. Our dog loved the local walks. The lane's around the Inn are quite narrow, I would suggest checking with the Inn the easiest way to get there, rather than rely on the sat nav. Walkability: Some nice walks from the Inn, although the nearby forest is private.

We Booked 2 nights in this beautiful Inn. The room was very cosy & clean. Very friendly & polite service. The food was really good. We will definitely be coming back again in the new year.

The Restaurant is very themed. Clean and cozy environment. Dinner was wonderful and the ice cream was fantastic. I came back more often. Beautiful stories.

We went for a family meal, the staff were extremely helpful. Some members of our party have mobility issues and they suggested an ideal table to sit at and an easier way to enter the Inn. We all, thoroughly enjoyed our meals and they were very helpful as I am gluten intolerant, lots of options and advice. We all felt that we would like to go back again, when we next all meet up. Food & drinks: Food and drinks all excellent and good choice. Noteworthy details: Beautiful old building and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. We only went for a lunch time meal but hope to go back again.

Limited accessibility as there are small steps all over the place and no emergency cord in the disabled toilet. The food had plenty of options for gluten free and veggie and the staff were super friendly and willing to check food and drink for my allergies.

What a great place to stay! I arrived early and was allowed to check in early, which was a real bonus. The brilliant lady on the bar served me a lovely pint of Avocet and in no time had made the effort to book me a cab for a short while later for me to get to a wedding party. Great. Room very comfortable with nice cotton bedding. Both slept very well. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely top-notch, perhaps the best we've ever had at a hotel, b&b or inn. Can't recommend it enough.

We popped in for a roast after being unable to go for a long walk as planned as the weather was shocking. Every cloud has a silver lining as they say because we wouldn't have been able to visit if it wasn't for the rain. The staff were incredible, the food was delicious (all too often pubs get away with serving lack luster Sunday Roasts but certainly not here), the venue it's self is like something out of a book. It's all so picturesque and idealistic (even in the rain). Definitely worth a visit! Food & drinks: Delicious Sunday roast

Stepped back in time with a week long stay in the excellent Cridford Inn. We were made very welcome by the staff and the owners Ness and Paul who were very sociable, friendly and helpful. The Inn itself is a true piece of living history, the rooms were clean comfortable and tastefully in keeping with the old building's charm and style. Professionally run as a family business Paul's breakfasts were the best you'll get made from local produce (we even got to meet the farmer who supplies it one night) The food and service were excellent and the chef Kris even came to check with the later diners for feedback on his fare. Well stocked pub, excellent restaurant and well run inn with a phenomenal history (Google it!) in a very quiet rural setting, me and my wife had a very relaxing week in the lovely Cridford Inn, would love the opportunity to return someday and hope it's still in the hands of it's current owners if/when I do Rooms: Very clean and comfortable old world style, second to none. Food & drinks: Excellent menu, top chef, lovely meals. Great local brews. If you stay the breakfasts are first class, thankyou Paul 🙂👍 Noteworthy details: Incredible history to this grade 1 listed longhouse. I rarely mention the toilets in a review but they were very clean with individual towels to dry your hands which was a lovely touch. Dog friendly. Family run.
